The Diagnosis of Sheep Cystic Echinococcosis by Native Antigen B - Elisa Method

نویسندگان

چکیده

Cystic echinococcosis (CE) is one of the most prevalent zoonotic diseases in some countries world. considered a neglected disease. This disease increases economic damage via medical costs and loss human livestock productivity. The aim current study gains better understanding prevalence CE sheep. Totally 250 sheep sera were collected. 25 serum samples from newborn lambs used as negative, others obtained slaughterhouses positive to infection with 200 unknown sera. Antigen B Isolated hydatid cysts fluid was for designing ELISA methods. first Method anti-Sheep conjugate (SIGMA, at 1:3000 dilution). According results, seroprevalence East Azerbaijan Iran 5.5% sensitivity specificity diagnosis hydatidosis by AgB-ELISA methods 92%. Using design has attracted researchers recent years. During this study, an Iranian native antigen specific detection using technique. results have shown that so valuable.

Comparison of the Utility of Recombinant B8/2 Subunit of the Antigen B, Native Antigen, and a Commercial ELISA Kit in the Diagnosis of Human Cystic Echinococcosis

Background: Cystic echinococcosis (CE) is a helminthic disease caused by the larval form of Echinococcus granulosus.  In the present study, the B8/2 subunit of antigen B (AgB) of E. granulosus was expressed in E. coli host and then applied in a diagnostic ELISA set up. Methods: The DNA sequence of AgB8/2 subunit from E. granulosus was extracted from the GenBank and codon-optimized. The target s...

Serodiagnosis of Echinococcosis by ELISA Using Cystic Fluid from Uzbekistan Sheep

According to increase of travel, the cases of imported echinococcosis have been increasing in Korea. The present study was undertaken to develop a serodiagnostic system for echinococcosis in Korea. For diagnosis of echinococcosis, the fluid of Echinococcus granulosus hydatid cysts was collected from naturally infected sheep in Uzbekistan. Also serum samples of infected patients who were surgica...

Negative-ELISA using native and filtrated cystic fluid antigens to rule out cystic echinococcosis.

An increasing number of cases of echinococcosis in Thailand have been imported, probably native infections and medical transfers. Serodiagnosis is one diagnostic choice for interpreting infections before a further step is done. Due to limited antigen, indirect ELISA has been used as a negative screening test for IgG-detection to rule out echinococcosis. Native hydatid cystic fluid (HCF) antigen...
